Astrology of April 2025: Three Planetary Ingresses and a Destiny-Driven Venus Node Conjunction
Mars Leaves Cancer, Mercury Speeds Up, and the Sun Grounds Down
There’s something undeniably liminal about this week. 3 planets ingress into new signs. We’re standing at the threshold of new chapters, with the cosmos handing us the keys, a map, and a vaguely encouraging nod. No pressure. Just a total energetic refresh.
An ingress? What’s that?
When a planet changes signs, it's called an ingress. Each planet behaves a little differently when they transit each sign. It marks a shift in the vibe- both for us as individuals, and collectively. It’s like the planet walking into a new room wearing a totally different outfit. When a planet moves through each sign, the way it expresses itself transforms. Each zodiac sign offers a unique lens.
Having three planetary ingresses in a single week? That’s not subtle. It’s a full-on energy recalibration—a cosmic scene change where the lighting, soundtrack, and script all get updated at once.
Mercury in Aries communicates with urgency and fire.
Mars in Leo centers action based on heart-led passion.
The Sun in Taurus wants to slow everything down and root in the present.
Let’s break it down:
April 16 – Mercury enters Aries (aka: brain go vroom)
Mercury has been swimming in the fishbowl of Pisces, where thoughts are more like watercolor dreams than actual words. This week our mental space gets a hard reboot as Mercury shifts into Aries. Aries is Cardinal Fire and thus is fast, fiery, and decidedly done with overthinking. Suddenly, you might feel the urge to say exactly what’s on your mind… immediately…and probably pretty loudly. (lol )
You may be asking yourself: is this courage or just caffeine?
It’s giving "clarity with a side of impulse."
If you are showered with any inspiring ideas try to write them down before they disappear in a puff of Aries smoke.
April 17 – Mercury conjunct Neptune (a moment of mystic nonsense)
Just as Mercury charges into Aries, it immediately collides with Neptune, who’s been floating there since March 30th. They meet at 00°38' Aries, right on the edge of new beginnings. Mercury is all about speed and clarity. But Neptune, well, Neptune is more like running in a dream. Ya know, where your legs won’t quite move, and you can’t reach the thing you're desperately trying to grab.
It’s a cosmic collision of momentum and mystery. This moment can stir up flashes of inspiration, but you might also feel like you’re making zero progress.
This conjunction is like channeling a divine message… but also forgetting what it was the moment you sit down to write it.
Think: inspired ideas, confusing conversations, and messages from your guides that feel more like interpretive dance than direct instruction. If you’re journaling, dream-mapping, or communing with your higher self, this is lovely energy. But maybe hold off on signing contracts or sending bold texts.
Trust the process.
Let the ideas settle, even if it feels like you're chasing something just out of reach.
April 18 – Mars enters Leo (finally!)
Okay, this one deserves a moment. Mars has finally left Cancer!!!! And honestly? Bless! I am literally hooting and hollering over here.
Mars has been in Cancer for an unusually long time. Since the beginning of September 2024 due to its retrograde cycle and it’s finally moving on.
Mars in Cancer is like trying to fight a battle underwater—slow, heavy, emotionally tangled. As we know Cancer’s mascot is the crab...and idk if you’ve ever seen how a crab moves but it scuttles sideways. I find Cancer has a harder time being direct in general and tends to dance around the point. Mars in Cancer often slows our momentum, steering us in circles instead of forward. It can stir up defensiveness, resentment, and the kind of fatigue that makes you cry over a dropped spoon.
But now Mars emerges from the moody depths and enters Leo. Yay Leo full of glitter and glory! This is a fiery homecoming. The vibe is: take up space, unapologetically. Leo is bold, expressive, and driven by the heart. Mars here wants to move from a place of personal passion. Mars wants to act because it feels right, not because it’s expected, or because we’re emotionally cornered.
Expect your energy to come back online. Expect things to finally start moving forward again. Especially if you have a chart with multiple cardinal placements. This retrograde may have left you feeling like you were trying to move through quicksand. And expect creative fires to spark in places that have felt stagnant for months.
April 19 – Sun enters Taurus (slow it way down, nap in a meadow)
The Sun moving into Taurus is the cosmic version of pouring a warm cup of tea and curling up in a sunlit window. After the chaos of Aries season, we get an invitation to reconnect with the body, the earth, and our senses. Taurus is ruled by Venus and centers values, love, beauty and the senses. Taurus doesn’t want you to rush living. It wants you to press your bare feet into the soil, to breathe in the scent of lilacs and slow mornings.
Taurus wants you to taste the sweetness of things, and remember that rest is also progress.
Also, let’s not forget: Taurus season is peak gardening energy—internally and externally.
What are you planting? What are you tending to with patience and love?
April 20 – Venus conjunct the North Node (a love letter to the future)
Venus conjuncts the North Node at 25°41’ Pisces. This is a quietly profound moment. Venus, our planet of beauty, pleasure, and values, meets the North Node, the cosmic compass pointing us toward soul growth. There may be subtle (or not-so-subtle) nudges around relationships, desires, and your evolving sense of worth. It’s not about who you’ve been. It’s about who you’re becoming.
Meetings may feel fated. You might remember a dream you forgot you had. Pay attention to what feels magnetic. Follow those quiet urges. These are breadcrumbs from your future self.
What do I do with all of this?
So what do you do with this kind of energy? You plant seeds. Quiet ones. Intentions you might not even have words for yet. Let the ideas come as shapes, feelings, colors. You don’t have to write it down. You can move with it. Cook with it. Light a candle and just sit with it. Speak it out loud to the sky or let it hum in your body while you walk.
Enjoy the changing of the seasons.
Pack a picnic. Go touch some grass. Eat cheese under a tree.
Smile at the flowers pushing their way up through the thawing earth.
Remember, Neptune doesn’t give answers, it gives atmosphere. Mercury sparks thought and inspires motion. The North Node shows us where to go. Mars gives us the energy to put thought into action.
Even if the motion is small. You don’t need a full plan. Just the beginning.
Don’t forget to find beauty around you in nature and all the small, everyday things.
The journey isn’t about knowing the whole path—it's about walking it, one moment at a time.

April 2025 Astrology: Full Moon in Libra (Copy)
On April 12, 2025, the full moon reaches its peak at 23°19’ Libra, illuminating our relationships—not just with others, but with ourselves. This lunation marks a critical moment on the Aries-Libra axis, the dance of sister signs between independence and partnership, self-assertion and compromise. Are we carving our own path authentically, or are we too entangled in the expectations of others? Where do we need more freedom, and where do we need to meet others halfway?
Aries and Libra: The Dance Between Self and Relationship
This full moon highlights the tension between Aries, the bold individualist, and Libra, the diplomat seeking harmony. Aries teaches us to stand tall in our personal power, while Libra reminds us that relationships act as mirrors, reflecting our inner world back to us. If recent months have felt like a tug-of-war between prioritizing your needs and accommodating others, this lunation offers clarity. Expect revelations about boundaries, self-worth, and the balance between independence and connection.
What Are Full Moons All About?
Full moons mark the culmination of an entire moon cycle—they represent the peak of the Moon’s energy, when she is full and lights up the sky.
Full moons occur when the Sun and the Moon are at the exact same degree in opposite, or ‘sister,’ signs.
Full moons are often a time of endings or revelations.
As witches, we work with this energy by releasing what no longer serves us. It is a time to symbolically end old patterns, limiting beliefs, or relationships that have run their course.
The light of the full moon illuminates all that is hidden, making it a powerful time for reflection and letting go.
In contrast, new moons mark the beginning of a fresh cycle, when the sky is dark and ripe for intention-setting. This is when we plant the seeds of our desires, manifesting new opportunities and calling in what we wish to grow.
Working in harmony with the moon's phases allows us to flow with nature’s rhythm, balancing release and renewal. I personally prefer to manifest on New Moons and release on Full Moons, but you do whatever is right for you!
Venus Retrograde: A Journey From Aries to Pisces
Adding depth to this Full Moon’s lessons is the conclusion of Venus retrograde, which began in Aries and ended in Pisces. Venus started its retrograde journey in fiery Aries, urging us to reexamine how we assert ourselves in love, creativity, and personal values.
By the time Venus retrograde ends on April 12th at 24°37’ Pisces, the vibe will have shifted dramatically. Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac, softened Aries' individualism, inviting surrender, compassion, and spiritual wisdom. During these weeks of self-exploration, the Collective has faced lessons in independence within relationships and a complete reassessment of our values.
We asked, ‘Where have I compromised too much in relationships?’ ‘Where am I holding onto aspects of life I no longer value?’ and ‘How am I spending my energy and money?’
Now, with Venus moving forward, we’re integrating those revelations, and are stepping into relationships (or out of them) with a clearer sense of self.
This Venus retrograde, combined with eclipse season, has sparked a fiery reevaluation of self-worth, love, and personal values.
Mercury Retrograde and Clarity Returning
We’re finally seeing the other side of March’s intense astrology as the second of two major transits ends.
Mercury stationed direct on April 7th at 26°50’ Pisces.
Mercury retrograding through Aries and Pisces has been an exercise in patience. Miscommunications, impulsive words, and tech glitches have tested everyone’s nerves.
This retrograde stirred impulsive reactions, misunderstandings, and a need to rethink how we express our desires. With Mercury now moving forward, we can integrate what we've learned, and choose words and actions that align with our newfound clarity.
With Mercury direct, expect mental clarity to return, stalled projects to gain momentum, and technology to run much more smoothly.
The Planetary Pile-Up: A Cosmic Pressure Cooker
This full moon is further intensified by a rare and powerful planetary pile-up in Pisces and Aries, featuring Saturn, the North Node, Neptune, the Sun, Mercury, and Venus.
This moment further highlights the Aries-Libra axis of self and relationship, sprinkling a little stardust onto our perspective while also widening our lens with Pisces' influence—the cosmic ‘we’ of the zodiac.
This cosmic congestion is creating an overwhelming mix of spiritual awakening, karmic reckoning, and heightened emotional intensity.
Venus, Mercury, Saturn, and the North Node in Pisces: Blurring the lines between dreams and reality, pushing us to discern truth from illusion.
The Sun, Chiron, and Neptune in Aries: A surge of fiery, action-oriented energy demanding self-assertion, directness, and courage.
Sun conjunct Chiron at 22°59’ Aries April 12th 11:59 AM EST
Saturn conjunct the North Node at 26°01 Pisces April 14th 12:25 AM EST : A call to embrace discipline in our spiritual and emotional growth. This is karmic accountability at its finest.
With so much planetary energy concentrated in Aries and Pisces, the Full Moon in Libra brings a welcome perspective to the two directions we have been pulled in.
The Influence of the Sun-Chiron Conjunction:
Not to add fuel to the fire or anything, but on the morning of the Full Moon on April 12th, we have a pretty intense transit. The Sun conjuncts Chiron at 22° 59’ Aries and highlights the wound of identity.
The Sun represents the core self, ego, and vitality, while Chiron symbolizes deep wounds and healing. Their conjunction brings buried insecurities to the surface, often forcing us to confront aspects of ourselves we may have tried to ignore or suppress.
This transit—especially under a Full Moon—brings up BIG feelings.
This can manifest as:
Feeling invisible or misunderstood
Struggling with self-acceptance and self-expression
Negative self-talk
A deep fear of rejection or failure
Sensitivity to criticism
Never feeling like you are enough
A lifelong battle to prove one’s worth
If you notice these feelings arise, be super kind to yourself and nourish your spirit in whatever way feels right.
Whether that means curling up in a blanket burrito, reading a new book, taking a bath, watching a movie, or going for a walk, be gentle with yourself—this can be a really tough transit. </3
On the other hand, if you are feeling up to it, or ignited by the Full Moon energy, here are some others ways you can work with the Moon’s energy—
Rituals for the Libra Full Moon
Mirror Work: Stand before a mirror and reflect on your relationship with yourself. What do you see? What needs healing or shifting?
Grounding Meditation: Find a grounding meditation that you love and during the meditation visualize releasing all the pent up anger, sadness, betrayal and loneliness in your body. Release it deep into the earth and all her to transform the energy.
Release & Rebalance: Write down habits, relationships, or thought patterns that no longer serve your growth and burn them in a fire ceremony.
Self-Assertion Ceremony: Set an intention for how you will honor both your autonomy and your connections moving forward.
A New Way Forward
This Libra full moon is one of deep integration. With Venus’s retrograde journey from Aries to Pisces, Mercury finally moving forward, and the planetary pile-up intensifying everything, we stand at a threshold.
The threshold of a whole new chapter of our lives.
We’ve learned significant lessons through the last 2 years on the Aries/Libra eclipse axis. We’ve gotten very clear on our values.
And the way we relate to ourselves and others has shifted dramatically. Are we willing to integrate these lessons? Are we ready to embrace both our individuality and our connections with greater wisdom?
With Saturn and the North Node aligning, the universe is giving us a choice: Do we resist growth, or do we embrace the wisdom of experience? Karma is in motion, and how we navigate this moment will shape the road ahead.
Balance is not about choosing between self and other—it’s about knowing when to stand firm and when to compromise.
And now, under this Libra moon, we get to decide how to move forward.
As the moon glows in Libra’s refined light, take a moment to honor both the beauty and the struggle. This is a time for intentional choices, graceful endings, and bold beginnings. Step forward with awareness—the universe is watching, and so is your future self.
You go girl.
Sending you a big titty hug.

Venus Retrograde Conjunct North Node in Pisces
What We’ve Learned and Where We’re Going (2025 Edition)
Hey my Cosmic Queens!
On April 3rd, 2025 we have a beautiful transit where the universe offers us a mirror, illuminating our journey. The astrology of March was absolute bananas, and this transit helps us integrate all that we’ve been through over the last couple months.
We have a Venus conjunction to the North Node at 26° 37’ Pisces. Venus retrograde is on its way out, and this transit is a significant check-in.
What’s Happening in the Sky?
Venus started her retrograde motion on March 15th at 9°35’ Aries and has been moving backwards through Aries and Pisces. When Venus retrograde at 26°37’ Pisces aligns with the North Node, we get a potent convergence amplifying the retrograde's themes.
This conjunction is in the sign of Pisces, which is all about deep emotional and spiritual connection, higher consciousness, and oneness.
It's extra special because it’s aligning with the North Node, your soul's GPS.
This transit is coming in hot right after the end of Eclipse Season.
This transit says “ HEY GIRL—what have we LEARNED?! And where are we GOING?!”
It’s a great time to journal and ask:
"Are my relationships and values serving my higher purpose?”
“Are my actions aligning with my values?
“Are my values aligning me with my soul's path?"
This isn't a casual check-in; it's a soul-level audit, urging us to ensure our energy serves our highest purpose.
What’s the Cosmic Vibe Here?
Venus retrograde is a period of revisiting past connections and emotions. We have been experiencing Venus retrograde since mid-March. Venus rules love, beauty, and relationships. When she appears moves backward through the sky (retrograde), things from the past tend to resurface — past loves, long-lost friends, or deep-seated emotions.
Venus retrograde asks us to look back, reflect, and reassess what we truly value.
This North Node conjunction elevates Venus retrograde beyond mere nostalgia, urging us to explore our authentic selves, free from societal constraints.
The North Node, our cosmic GPS, highlights the potential for destiny to intertwine with our relationship to both self and others. This conjunction in Pisces invites us to release superficial ties and embrace connections that resonate with our spiritual core, aligning our hearts with our soul’s journey.
What Does This Mean for You?
This hasn’t been any old Venus retrograde. It happened on the same day that Mars went direct after months of being retrograde in Cancer. This retrograde has also occurred during Eclipse Season and along with Mercury retrograde.
Talk about a spicy cosmic soup, omg!!
This has been an especially sensitive, liminal, watery time.
This Venus conjunct the North Node transit may look like:
Revisiting the Past: Venus retrograde brings exes, old friends, and unresolved feelings back. The North Node adds a layer of destiny; these encounters are invitations for growth, healing, and clarity.
What Do You Truly Value?: Pisces energy is deeply introspective and spiritual. Venus retrograde here makes you question your core values and whether your relationships, career, and life choices align with your soul’s purpose. You might feel compelled to let go of superficial things and embrace what really matters: love, peace, creativity, and emotional fulfillment.
Creative Reawakening: Pisces is a deeply creative sign, so this is a prime time for reconnecting with your artistic side. Venus retrograde can bring back forgotten passions. The North Node encourages you to align with your soul's calling, which might mean tapping back into those creative passions.
Emotional and Spiritual Alignment: Pisces energy is about healing and compassion. If your relationships feel off, this is your chance to realign. Venus retrograde in Pisces asks you to let go of outdated emotional patterns and embrace healing, forgiveness, and empathy.
How to Make the Most of This Energy:
Here are some tips:
Take Your Time: Venus retrograde is a time for reflection, not impulsive decisions. Slow down, take stock, and ask if your relationships and values are aligned.
Embrace Healing: This is an emotionally cleansing time. Use this retrograde to heal old wounds. Pisces energy is compassionate, so be gentle.
Revive Creative Projects: Reconnect with abandoned creative projects.
Set Boundaries: Cultivate healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

April 2025 Astrology: Navigating the North Node in Pisces After the Solar Eclipse in Aries
Navigating the Cosmic Shift: The North Node's Transition into Pisces
Hey cosmic travelers, let’s talk about one of the biggest astrological shifts shaping our collective journey this year—the North Node’s move into Pisces!
If you crashed out during the final Aries eclipse on March 29, 2025, you’re not alone. If you’ve been feeling more dreamy, emotional, or creatively inspired lately, you’re not imagining it. The universe just handed us a permission slip to lean into our spiritual side, and honestly, it’s kind of a big deal.
What Even Is the North Node?
Before we dive into what this means for us, let’s clear up what the North Node actually is. In astrology, the North Node (along with its counterpart, the South Node) isn’t a planet but a mathematical point in the sky where the Moon’s orbit crosses the Sun’s path. Translation? It’s like a cosmic compass pointing us toward where we need to grow, both individually and collectively.
The North Node represents the lessons we’re here to learn, the qualities we need to embrace, and the direction our souls—and the world—are evolving toward. Meanwhile, the South Node shows what we’re releasing—those old habits and outdated ways of thinking that no longer serve us. Every 18 months or so, the Nodes shift, and with them, our collective focus changes.
So when I talk about the Nodes, I’m talking about the transiting Nodes—not the ones in your birth chart.
What is Transiting Astrology?
Transiting astrology refers to the current positions of the planets as they move through the sky. It’s a snapshot of the moment we’re experiencing in real time.
This is different from your birth chart.
Your birth chart is a fixed map of the sky at the exact moment you were born. It reveals your core personality, strengths, challenges, and life path.
In short: Your birth chart tells you who you are, while transiting astrology shows how the changing planetary energies affect you at different points in time. Think of transits as the cosmic weather forecast that interacts with your personal chart.
From Aries-Libra to Pisces-Virgo: What’s Changing?
Up until now, we’ve been riding the Aries-Libra wave, where the North Node in Aries pushed us to step into our power, claim our independence, and embrace our inner warrior. Aries is ruled by Mars, and Libra is ruled by Venus. Aries and Mars represent individuality, action, and assertion, while Libra and Venus govern relationships, harmony, and balance.
Depending on where this series of eclipses landed in your chart, you may have experienced major life changes, shifts in your relationship with personal power, or transformations in your partnerships.
Or, if you’re like me, you torched your entire life. Anyway…
As of January 11, 2025, the North Node has officially moved into Pisces, bringing a whole new vibe that’s way less “go, go, go” and way more “let’s flow, booboo.”
This means our collective lessons are shifting toward themes of spirituality, creativity, compassion, service, and surrender. Instead of striving to become someone, we’re being invited to remember that we already are someone—just as we are. Deep, right?
But First, One Last Eclipse in Aries…
Before we could fully embrace the North Node in Pisces, the universe gave us one final cosmic push with the Solar Eclipse in Aries on March 29, 2025, at 2:21 PM EDT (at 19°24’ Aries). This eclipse was like a fiery grand finale, urging us to take bold action, break free from what’s been holding us back, and step fully into our authenticity.
If you felt a big surge of energy, a life-changing realization, or a sudden urge to shake things up around the end of March, that was the eclipse working its magic. Maybe you quit your job, ended a toxic relationship, or simply had a good cry. This was the final chapter of our Aries lesson in self-leadership before the universe gently nudged us into Piscean waters, where intuition and high spirituality rule the game.
Who will this Nodal Axis Impact Most?
While everyone will feel the effects of the North Node in Pisces, certain zodiac signs will experience it more intensely:
Pisces & Virgo (Direct Impact): If you have significant placements in Pisces or Virgo (Sun, Moon, Rising, or key planets), expect major personal transformations. Pisces will feel called to step into their higher purpose, while Virgo will need to release control and embrace the unknown.
Gemini & Sagittarius (Tension & Growth): These mutable signs will experience challenges and breakthroughs, especially in areas related to belief systems, career shifts, and personal identity.
Aries & Libra (Eclipse Aftershocks): After nearly two years of the Nodes in your signs, you're still integrating big life changes. The shift to Pisces-Virgo may bring emotional release and a sense of closure.
Scorpio & Cancer (Supportive Flow): Water signs will likely feel more aligned with this transit, experiencing spiritual awakenings, creative inspiration, and deeper emotional connections.
So, What Does the North Node in Pisces Mean for Us?
Now that we’re officially in North Node in Pisces territory (until July 26, 2026), we’re all being encouraged to embrace:
Spiritual Awakening: A collective shift toward intuition, empathy, and deepening our connection to the unseen. Meditation, dreamwork, and trusting our gut? Big yes.
Creative Expression: The floodgates of imagination are opening! Whether through music, poetry, film, or painting, this is the time to channel emotions into art and share it with the world.
Compassionate Service: It’s time to care—deeply. Acts of kindness, humanitarian efforts, and standing up for those in need will be major themes of this transit. In the absolute political hellscape we are currently experiencing not just in the US, but world-wide, this will be especially important.
Releasing Perfectionism (Thanks, South Node in Virgo!): We’re learning to let go of the need to have all the answers. Overthinking? Obsessing over details? Controlling everything and everyone? Vice-gripping life? The South Node in Virgo is collectively releasing all of that and is teaching us to chill and trust the process
Escaping vs. Finding Truth: Pisces energy can sometimes make us want to check out (hello, Netflix binges and endless scrolling). The challenge? To use our imagination for healing, making art, and inspiration, not avoidance.
Eclipses Will Keep the Energy Shifting
Throughout this cycle, eclipses will continue shaking things up, highlighting areas of our lives where we need to embrace these lessons. Think of them as cosmic wake-up calls designed to push us closer to our highest potential.
Final Thoughts: Trust the Mess
The North Node in Pisces is an invitation to trust, surrender, and embrace the magic of life. Instead of trying to control every detail, we’re learning to ride the cosmic wave, let go of outdated systems, and embrace more intuitive, heart-centered ways of living.
So, light a candle, put on your favorite playlist, and take lots of baths. The universe has a plan—even if we can’t see it just yet.
Here’s hoping this will be a time of collective healing and creative expression.
The last Aries Eclipse showed us who the fuck we are.
Stop trying to micromanage your fate, and just put one foot in front of the other.
What’s for you will never miss you, and if you’re coming up against one two many obstacles maybe consider shifting direction.

March Mayhem Tarot Spread
This whole year has felt like a complete fever dream!
One of the ways I’m keeping sane is reading tarot, and I came up with this fun little spread to try to make sense of some of the energy of March. Which, astrologically speaking one of the craziest months of the year!
Mars went direct after about six months in retrograde in Cancer. But nearly a day later Venus went retrograde. We have our first Lunar Eclipse in the shifting axis which was a Full Moon eclipse in Virgo. Eclipse shift signs every 18 months or so.
This shift isn't random. It signifies a profound transition in the collective and personal energies we experience. When the eclipse axis moves, it activates different areas of our lives, reflecting the unique qualities of the signs involved.
Lunar eclipses represent our emotions and often the things that we are grappling with that are more private, or unseen.
While the sun, or solar eclipses can represent a "new moon" on steroids, a time of powerful new beginnings and a reset of solar (ego, will) energy.
And if that wasn’t enough we have two other major transits, Mercury Retrograde, and Neptune moving into Aries for the first time in 168 years!
Like, can the universe just chill for five minutes and let me finish my tea? SMH.
The astrology has been so dramatic.
So, naturally, I did what any self-respecting millennial would do: I pulled some cards.
Because when the universe is screaming in astrological jargon, you need a good tarot spread to translate. I call this one the 'March Mayhem Survival Guide,' and it's designed to help us navigate this cosmic rollercoaster without losing our minds.
Here’s how it works, and yes it makes a pentagram.
Card 1 (Bottom Left): 'What archetypal themes will I be working with?’
This is where we dive into the core energies at play. Basically, what character am I channeling this month?
Card 2 (Top Right): 'What energy is supporting me through this chaos?'
Idk about you but I always want to know who my cosmic cheerleader is.
Card 3 (Bottom Right): 'What do I need to let go of during Venus retrograde?’
Is it a doozy? Probably. But we can do hard things.
Card 4 (Middle Left): 'What was revealed during the lunar eclipse?’
What emotional skeletons came dancing out of the closet?
Card 5 (Middle Right): 'What is Neptune in Aries here to teach me?’
Basically, what cosmic lesson is Neptune throwing at me while it's wearing its Aries party hat? What wild ride is this transit taking me on?
I highly recommend using this spread in combination with both your astrological birth chart, and your transit chart for the next year.
My favorite place to find your birth chart and transit chart is at astroseek.com
I hope this spread helps us all embrace the chaos, find the humor in the absurdity, and remember that even in the midst of a dumpster fire, we can still find a spark of magic.
What are your thoughts on this spread? Do you want to see my pulls?
Xoxo,

My Journey Through Art, Spirituality, and Food
Life is like an intricate mosaic. Each colorful tile depicts our passions, experiences, and beliefs. Each sparkling moment makes up the picture of our beautiful, multifaceted lives.
I find identity to be a bit of an enigma.
Often in the west we identify as our professions. “I’m a doctor, a banker, a teacher.” As a multi-passionate creative it seems like such a foreign concept to me to have a singular identity.
As a witch, chef, and artist, I see the world through a unique lens. Growing up in the enchanting landscapes of New England and later soaking up the sunshine on California's shores, I've crafted a life that centers around self-discovery, and focuses heavily on rich elements of living. I wonder if this is at all shaped by my astrological chart, especially the influence of Venus sitting on my rising sign. Or it is a product of growing up outside of New York City with creative parents.
Perhaps it's a blend of both, a harmonious convergence of celestial and earthly influences.
These special connections have filled me with a deep appreciation for beauty, sensuality, and the intricate threads that weave us all together.
My Background
Raised in the historically rich and mystical region of Coastal New England, I was enveloped by the whispers of history and the vibrant energy of changing seasons.
I grew up right down the street from the beach where the crisp, salt-tinged air surrounded me as I rollerbladed to the marina.
I grew up playing Harry Potter with my friends. The autumn leaves crunching beneath my boots as I ran through the woods on pretend broomsticks. Walking through graveyards dating back to the 1700s. Making potions with every product in our bathrooms. And getting spooked by hearing bumps in the night at my friend’s historical homes
During the Revolutionary War the British landed on the shores of my town and burned a path leading from the sound to the town center. And we go on historical walking field trips filled with stories like this about the area.
This enchanting environment nurtured a profound connection to the Earth and its cycles, forming the basis for my spiritual practices and culinary adventures. History and art infused all aspects of my life growing up. These childhood adventures, steeped in history and imagination, laid the foundation for my magical worldview.
Art Education: A Love for Impressionism and Surrealism
I count myself really lucky to have parents who valued art. They took me to MoMa and The Met. They filled our house with Southern Folk Art. My dad taught Art in the Classroom, which is exactly what it sounds like. The parents usually selected a specific work of art and taught us about it.
This early exposure to diverse artistic expressions sparked a lifelong passion.
I am so grateful that my creativity was always supported. Art has always served as a sanctuary for my soul, a space where I can articulate my deepest thoughts and emotions. My formal education in the arts opened my eyes to new techniques and styles, yet Impressionism and Surrealism have always truly captivated my heart.
Impressionism, with its emphasis on light, color, and movement, parallels my cooking approach—capturing the fleeting beauty of a moment and transforming it into something lasting. The dreamlike essence of Surrealism resonates with my spiritual journey, inviting exploration into the realms of the subconscious and the unseen.
Through these art forms, I learned to see the world not just as it is, but as it could be. To always be seeking a deeper meaning.
The impact of my arts education was profound.
Creativity: It echoes through all areas of my life. It fosters innovative thinking and problem-solving. It allows me to be fluid.
Expression: Offers a channel for emotions and ideas. The importance of having and using your voice.

The Beauty of Food
I studied art in college, but like many other millenials I did not end up working in my field of study. Instead I ended up in the restaurant industry.
I learned the art of coffee. I first trained as a barista. Learning the perfect extraction of espresso, how to steam milk and pour latte art. I learned how to roast. Taking green beans from Ethiopia to Costa Rica to Peru and roasting them at varying temperatures trying to find the perfect harmony of flavors.
I grew through the industry working in all aspects of restaurants. From hosting, to serving, to baking to management, and finally to the back of house and cooking.
Eventually I moved to California. This marked a pivotal change in my life. The state’s diverse cultures, landscapes, and culinary traditions expanded my horizons and allowed me to delve deeper into my passions.
Living in Berkeley I learned about Alice Waters and became fascinated by the slow food movement. I felt the warm embrace of the California sun as I wandered through the farmers markets. The scents of ripe peaches, freshly baked bread, and the enchanting perfume of herbs like Thai Basil filled the air, pulling me deeper into the art of culinary creation. I was surrounded by the most beautiful produce I had ever seen.
I was taken with the art of food. Food became so much more than sustenance—it’s an art form, a spiritual ritual, and a way to connect with the world.
Lovingly preparing produce and creating recipes inspired by ingredients by day, and learning the healing and magical properties of herbs and flowers by night.
It was here that I fully embraced my identity as a witch, chef and artist.
The Magic in Food, Kitchen Witchery, Honoring Nature’s Cycles
The kind of witchcraft that I vibe with honors the Wheel of the Year.
As I deepened my spiritual practice, I began to see my kitchen as a sacred space for kitchen witchery—where cooking becomes a spiritual ritual that honors nature’s cycles. Each season holds its own energy, and by cooking with seasonal ingredients, I align my practice with the Earth’s rhythms.
I am deeply fascinated by herbs and flowers properties and their magical correspondences.
I also delight in creating bath soaks and essential oil blends that tap into the magical properties of what may seem like mundane ingredients.
In spring, I embrace fresh greens and herbs, symbolizing rebirth. Summer’s abundance reminds me of joy and vitality, while fall’s root vegetables reflect harvest and gratitude. Winter is a time for nourishing stews and introspection, honoring deep rest and renewal.
The Pagan holidays, which mark the turning of the year, offer opportunities to connect with the Earth’s cycles. Both food and magic connect me to Earth’s sacred rhythms, turning food into a spiritual practice.
In the kitchen, I embody both an alchemist and an artist, transforming ordinary ingredients into dishes that delight the senses. I find joy in the bold, vibrant flavors of fresh herbs, ripe fruits, and locally sourced produce. Each meal becomes a celebration of life, a symphony of tastes, colors, and aromas that bring joy and healing to those who partake.
Venus on My Rising: A Celestial Influence
I got into astrology when I was a young teenager. One day, I went over to my best friend Caroline’s dad’s house. We were sitting in her dad’s office and she told me about astrology. She put in my birth information and boom there it was. The celestial picture of me. I didn’t relate a ton to it at first, I have a heavy chart with a lot of 12th House and Cancer placements. But as I grew older I really connected with Astrology as a way of navigating the world and understanding people.
Since college, astrology has been a guiding light in my life, providing insights into my personality and destiny.
Something that caught my attention a few years ago was noticing that my natal Venus sits on my rising sign.
This means that Venus was rising in the sky along with my ascendant.
If you’re not into astrology, let me explain—it means that the energy of Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and art, is a big part of how I show up in the world. I think that’s why I’ve always felt so connected to art, beauty, and harmony in all its forms. Whether it's a painting, a perfectly made dish, or a moment in nature, I just can’t get enough of it.
Venus has always nudged me toward harmony and connection, and that’s exactly what I strive to cultivate in every aspect of my life. I’ve often found myself arranging flowers in my kitchen at the end of a long day, as though Venus herself is gently guiding my hands to create beauty even in the mundane. It’s in these small acts that I feel most aligned with my true self.
Effects of Venus on My Chart:
Aesthetic Appreciation: A keen eye for beauty in everyday life.
Creativity: Enhanced artistic talents and inspiration.
Harmony: A longing for balance and peace in relationships.
Connection: Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
The Interconnection: Art, Spirituality, & Food
My journey through art, spirituality, and food is a continuous exploration of beauty, connection, and significance. Through art, I tap into the meditative space where spirit and creativity meet. Through food, I connect with others and celebrate the cycles of life. And through spirituality, I find guidance in every brushstroke and bite.
This interconnectedness has taught me that every part of life—whether creating a piece of art, preparing a meal, or practicing my spirituality—is an opportunity to nurture beauty, connection, and meaning. In this way, each experience, like a tile in a grand design, shapes the whole picture of our lives.
As I reflect on my journey, I invite you to reflect on the intersections of art, spirituality, and food. How do these elements shape your life and inform your identity? What connections can you cultivate to bring greater meaning and joy to your experiences?
